Vinyl records are rotating disks that play music. They are made out of polyvinyl chloride and come in many different colors and designs. Vinyls have been sold and made for a very long time, the first-ever vinyl was made in 1931, and RCA Victor launched the first commercially available vinyl long-playing record, where they were marketed as program-transcription discs.

Vinyls are very fun to collect and decorate your room with, Although they can be a little pricey, they are worth it. You can find vinyls at Target, Walmart, and Barnes and Noble. You can also order them or just go to a vinyl shop. One of the main questions asked about vinyls is how they are able to play the songs or sounds they are playing. A vinyl record works by spinning on the record player, commonly known as a turntable. A stylus on the record player moves through the grooves imprinted on the disc and “reads” them. This reading generates an electric signal which is transferred to an amplifier.

So yeah, vinyls are pretty cool and very fun to listen to. The most sold vinyl in the world is Thriller by Micheal Jackson, with over 27 MILLION vinyl records sold.
