Turning Red: Disney and Pixar

Turning Red is a Disney and Pixar animated movie about a teenage girl named mei lee, who is currently going through the process of growing up, and figuring out who she is, all while trying to deal with an overprotective mother. If she's not already dealing with enough whenever she gets too excited she turns into a Red Panda!

This movie is available on Disney Plus right now.

The Batman: DC Films

Made and Produced by DC is the new Batman movie “The Batman.” As Batman has been fighting crime in Gotham City for over 2 years, a new enemy emerges. The serial killer the Riddler has a plan to kill Gotham city's elite. What will Batman do? How will the story end? I don't know, that's for you to figure out by watching the movie!

Cyrano

Cyrano is a Romantic Musical about a guy named Cyrano who impresses everyone with his amazing word play and his amazing sword skills. Although, due to his appearance he feels unworthy of his friend Roxanne's love, for she is in love with someone else. I personally really want to see this movie. If you can go see it go! It looks amazing.

There are tons of more movies out there, you just have to go looking for them. If you want to find more movies or perhaps are bored and are looking for something to watch then I hope these are something you're willing to give a try!

Food Review

I love food. I love experiencing all the flavors and textures of the food and seeing the experience of what it's like making the food. The whole experience and process is very interesting to me. Here I’ll be describing some food from places I love.

Panera Bread is a great place, they sell baked goods, sandwiches, soups, salads, and more. My favorite item to eat there is their BBQ Chicken Salad. It obviously contains chicken, a black bean and corn salsa, frizzled onions, bbq ranch and apple cider vinegar bbq. When I say it's one of the best salads I've ever had, it is. The bbq is tangy and sweet, while the chicken and black bean corn salsa make it savory which makes it the perfect.

Olive Garden is one of my favorite restaurants, they sell pasta, bread sticks, salad, soups, and desserts. My favorite is the Five Cheese Ziti Al Forno, containing their pasta, their signature five cheese blend mariana, and cheese on top. Unfortunately I could not find which cheeses they used in this dish. The cheese isn’t overpowering and the pasta is delicious. Another dish I love is their Chocolate Brownie Lasagna. Eight mini layers of brownie with vanilla cream cheese frosting in between topped with chocolate shavings and a chocolate sauce. This has been my go to desert there and even though I’ve had it over and over again it never gets old. The richness of the cream cheese and the fudgyiness of the chocolate brownie is so delicious.

The GK Times and its staff would like to formally apologize for some language printed in our last issue. Our values were not accurately reflected and we promise to (moving forward) be careful to include the opinions of all so long as they remain respectful. Here at the GK Times our staff fully supports the LGBTQ+ community and are committed to working against the stigma that they may encounter in person and in print. GK Times is fully run by POC and LGBTQ+ students who are instrumental in the creation and expression of LGBTQ+ children at GK. This club allows us to have a voice with thanks from our supervisor Mrs. Clendinen, who creates an endless safe space for LGBTQ+ minds. We once again apologize for any damage our article may have caused.
